What is included with registration?
Registration includes entrance to the conference and vendor area, lunch, coffee/snacks and some swag.

When is on-site registration?
Registration will start an hour before the event, and continue throughout the day until it no longer makes sense for you to show up so late. Tickets must be purchased in advance–none will be sold on-site.

How can I help?
Get the word out! Help make RVAsec a success so we can do it again next year, but bigger and better.

We will be needing a small number of volunteers to help with registration, speaker wrangling and security. If you are interested, please contact us for more information.

Can I speak at RVAsec?
CFP is closed for 2021.  Start planning for next year!

How many attendees will be RVAsec?
While we are unsure with they year, we have significant more space for attendees.  We will have 350 electronic badges available and typically order approximately 600 bags and shirts (if they arrive based on shipping issues).  While we can handle a large amount of attendees, it is important to get a ticket early if you want a badge, bag, shirt, etc.

Is there an age restriction?
Not for the conference itself.

Will there be Internet available at the event?
We believe there will be Internet but it has not been confirmed yet. If there is access it is important to know the following; Use at your risk. No guarantees.

Are there any other events going on during RVAsec?
We are seeking a sponsors for the conference. If anyone would like to organize a private event for attendees (sponsored or not), please let us know so we can post the information.

Will there be a shuttle from local hotels to the event?
Stay at the Richmond Marriott Downtown and you are in great shape!  Several hotels in the area have a shuttle which may be used in the morning and evening for transportation to the conference.

Is there parking?
Parking is available at the hotel and nearby parking decks.

Will talks be recorded/posted?
Yes! You can see previous RVAsec talks on our YouTube channel.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?
Please note there are no refunds due to processing fees.  You can however easily transfer your ticket.

How do I transfer my ticket?
Log in to your Eventbrite account and go to My Tickets (you may need to create an account using the email address you registered).

You can then view your Current Orders (select RVAsec), and “Edit details” for the ticket. Changing the “Contact Information” will update the name of the person registered to check in at the conference. You can also change the questions asked at registration, which will help us plan for parking, catering and other items.
